So after swearing that I wouldn't spend any unnecessary money on my car this year I lasted less than a day

It started with this lot from Elite Car Care:

A Eurow Sheepskin Wash Mitt, Eurow X-Large Waffle Weave Drying Twel, Dodo Juice Lime Prime, Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss, Collonite 476 kit, An Elite Pro Detailing Brush, A Couple Of Sonus Applicator Pads and to top it off a California Scents Air Freshener

I then spent a day cleaning/detailing (but didn't take any pics )

I spent a bit of time making an uprated headlight loom for the Mk2, changing the boot lifters, sorting out the rear screen heater and giving it an oil change etc.

Next up was buying some wheel spacers which should be here tomorrow or friday, to go along with them I decided to treat myself to a shiny new torque wrench as well, and i'm possibly heading to the scrappy tomorrow to pick up a new backbox

Cheers Bellend

Collecting a twin pipe stainless steel back box one night this week so i'll get that fitted next weekend. Not sure on the make because the car was stacked in the scrappy but for £25 i'm not too bothered

The spacers arrived yesterday so I got them fitted on the rears this morning. They're 15mm hubcentric ones with extended bolts, they bring the wheel in line with the arch much better, but I think the rear needs to be lower to eliminate the little gap that there is. I'll order some 5 or 10mm spacers for the front next month.

big improvement are the spacers although better pics needed, as they still seem sat in far

but not liking the headlamps so much, look far too dark and IMO looking close to chav spray tinted lamps, prefere the ones you had before which were a alot more subtle and looked alot more clean against the red... the normal joey modded lamps are hard to better.

I disagree with the above comments and theirs nothing chav about them  I think they suit the car very well.Spacers personally I think with these type of wheels 15" BBS I dont think they improve the look to much if im honest could be the pictures youve taken Dom but I just think spacers are more suited if your running bigger stancer wheels maybe some better pictures will change my view but other wise Dom as always your car looks spot on mate along with your very clean little mk2

ahh well, just my opinion, i think it looked a lot better before, not keen on fully tinted headlamps, but as i say, its just my opinion, as long as he is happy thats all that matters
