Where are all the GTI's?!

Having seen a good 3 or 4 when i got mine last Sept, i have now not seen one (and neither has the missus) on my/our travels for about 3 months!  where have you all gone?!  At one stage Hertfordshire was the GTI capital of England and now it appears its just me on my lonesome!!

I know how u feel mate... none round here either. Seen one white gti very rarely near stourton, but thats about it :undecided:

honestly its just weird - i would have expected to have seen loads by now but none.  don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining as i look the nuts on the road cause they're aren't any others around  :laugh:

I've only seen about six MKVI GTI's ever; two black, three white and a red one.

I've only seen one R - but that was in a VW showroom!   :drool:

now i've seen loads of new mk6's - just not GTI's - loads of black ones and a few white & red ones.  a few new polos too.  and loads of shiroccos (sp?).  but not one golf r  :sad:  actually saw two focus rs's this morning after not seeing one for months and months - f7ck me that's one ugly motor  :grin:

Go for a drive around the M25 - there's hundreds of Mk6's on there, including GTI's and GTD's.

I think I've only seen about 3 in newcastle  -  seen an R on the road  -  I hope it all bodes well for used prices when we come to sell but I guess that within a few months, we'll see more around  -  when the Gti
Mark V first came out, were they as rare as the Mark VI is now?

i will be frequenting that road for a few weeks in April - i look forward to seeing the other GTI's.  Not bothered about the GTD's though he he  :laugh:
