update  -  dealer told me this afternoon that production of the car is complete and that next move is to the port  -  he said he expects to receive notice that the car is on the ship later this week. Does this all sound like I might get the car next week??

A very slim chance James it would need to go on ship this week for any chance of getting next week. Once its arrived in uk the dealer should get an estimated date from ECM the delivery comany.

Thnx, Evo  -  just had an e-mail from my dealer  - he says more likely to be 2 weeks than one week  -  all depends on how quickly it can get onto a ship and into the Tyne. He said it could be 7 to 10 days. He said he'll let me know when the status changes.
You'd have to live in Newcastle to know what I mean by this but it's like the drive from London to Newcastle and I've got to Wetherby  -  getting there but still quite a way to go....when it's on the ship, it'll be like I've got to Scotch Corner...

I don't drive through Lowfell now  -  Western Bypass/A1  -  traffic, though, at the Metro Centre is nearly always the worst of the journey!

Yours BW9 built / mine BW8 built
Yours BW10 on 'ship/Emden' / mine BW9 on 'ship/Emden'
Yours BW11 in Tyne / mine BW10 in Grimsby
Yours BW11 at dealer, hopefully and probably at the end of that week! / mine definitely at dealers BW10 Friday 12th March
Then the PDI
Yours ready for collection or delivery BW12 / mine ready for collection or delivery BW11 but I cannot comply, so will have it delivered BW12
So we will get our cars at approximately the same time.
Something in common!
