Just came back from garage, bad news. turbo seals are gone 

I recently did KO3S upgrade in end of january and now its gone. Luckily I kept KO3 which we are going to fit now. Is it alright to run KO3 on custom remap which was initially done for ko3s. Also can ko3s seals can be replaced so i can use it again or i'm better off looking for it again

Get the car to us some how m8,  During the rolling road day before you even had that turbo fitted you got the the oil error up,  I cannot see it beiong the turbo seals, get the car to me and I will save you a wad load of money and time, are you in the AA?

Yea sounds like the turbo seals in away, but oil consumption seems to high  at least a rebuild is more economical than a new turbo, plus you can get 360 degree or roller bearing, lighter shaft etc... if you got spare cash to make that k03s abit more special, but that depends how deep your pockets are.

I had similar the other day. But i had oil leaking over the road. Turned out the turbo oil return pipe had worked loose. Different turbo mind. Other symptoms were the same. Awesome sorted it out pronto for me.
Sounds like very good service offered from R Tech (once again).

can anyone tell by looking on these pics, if turbo seals are really gone

can't really tell for definite but i'd have expected to see more actually inside the turbo - to me it looks like it may have been leaking from the oil feed.

It'd be hard to lose a whole sumps worth of oil from turbo seals over night - especially without any signs of smoke while the car was at idle. I've seen turbo seals gone before and trust me it smokes like a b!tch.

i suppose taking it apart is the only way to tell for sure though

Did thermostat change today and now temp guage sit spot on 90 and hopefully it will sort poor fuel consumption. Went for spin, everything seems fine till this annoying warning came on dash again "Oil Press - Stop Motor". When it came previously, the engine was then flushed and refilled with approved vw engine oil. Now after almost a month, this warning has come up again. checked engine oil and its on level.

Can it be cause of faulty oil pressure switch or oil sludge problem?

if youve flushed the engine then i would say the sludge would have been cleared. only other thing could be a bloke pick up pipe or oil pump, pressure switch/warning switch could be the cause

is there any way to check what need replacing before I order parts?

if the oil pressure switch was faulty i would have thought it would show with a scan on vagcom.

if the pick up pipe is block then its sump off job and you'll probs need the usual oil, filter and also sump gasket. But i doubt this would be the problem if its been serviced well and been flushed.

Are you noticing any smoke on start up and at full temp with foot to floor?

Also is oil making its way through the turbo oil feed pipe?
