Scuse me for being so dumb here, but is this really an "approved VW" vehicle? it's not April Fools early or something? Obviously there is extensive cosmetic changes to the car. Has there been remaps done to the engine and then remapped back? Can VW guarantee the quality and workmanship of the mods? Will the bodykit fall off after 100 miles? will the new rear undertray/diffuser work as efficiently as the original?
It's like seeing a beautiful Hugo Boss suit in displayed on a mannequin but it's been worn just before by Andy Murray whilst playing 5 sets in a grand slam final. Just looks used and abused.

I love the designs of the mk5 and mk6 GTIs, and I love that little red line around the front of those cars, as Jeremy Clarkson once put it "subtle lip gloss", but in this it's been taken away and some halloween joke fangs have been put on it. The sad thing is though is that somebody may conceivably buy it.

Totally contradicts the VW advertising campaign several years ago when they had Golfs all tarted up or with chav number plates "B16 BOB" and then they had what looked like a Golf crying basically saying please don't do this to me, I'm good enough the way I am!!

Its an ABT conversion... which are silly money. Looks like someone has gone the whole hog with this one.. hence the 32k price tag. Never liked abt anyway.... 


p.s. If you look really close at the front shots you can spot a little tear i believe.

The standard Golf GTI is like Jessica Alba... stunning to look at with very little make up needed.
