+1 for the heat gun, autoglym bumper care is fantastic stuff, but the heat gun is a free option (providing you own one) so try both, heat gun will certainly get it black again, bumper care will make it shiney and keep it black.

Must admit i've tried the autoglym bumper care, it does a good job but i find it doesn't last..10 days -2 weeks it's back to grey bumpers and trim again.
I've tried black wax, boiled linseed oil, wd40, acf50, armour all..they all do a nice job but none of them last, not in my experience anyway.
Hot air gun is my last option i think..summer time though

when i bought my car all the rubber and plastic black bits were faded so i just bought a can of satin black spray paint and gave each thing a a light coat and they all look new now

I still swear by Asda boot polish. The gold bottle with the sponge top. Costs 89p I think and after a couple of coats comes up a treat. I use it once a fortnight and plastic arches look mint. I heard the boot spoiler does not take to boot polish for being a different plastic but I have had no problems and it also looks great. Can't recommend it enough.

Tyreshine ftw!
Polished the car one day and thought i'd give it a bash and it works a treat for like two weeks at a time!
Brings it all back to black and gives it a subtle shine
IMO its the cheapo way to go black
