Condensation in rear clusters - ideas pls?
« on: 31 January 2010, 19:16 »
Hi All

I've got an 08 Ed30 - had the nsr light cluster (the outer one on the wing) replaced twice because of condensation.

Now it's back - and it's now also appearing on the inner osr one as well!

Any ideas? Is this common?

Yes its common, and its a design issue, temperature in the Boot and light cluster make it steam up, but soon disappears when lens cools down. Same as the front Headlamps/Xenons will do this aswell.

If its still under warranty get them to change it again until it stops happening!

I had one of my rear clusters mist up - changed under warranty and all fine since.
