Airflow meter easy to change or not? n what sort of price for a second hand one? mk2 1988 gti digifant

Sorry to rain on your parade Free - but that's a bit steep !!!

I got a complete air box / MAF and pipework for ?20 including P&P

I got mine from a breaker, including airbox, for ?25. My car runs so much better now. The MAF must have been knackered for some time before I changed it. My local breaker always has plenty.

they must of droped in  price then there over 100 new nn when my mate wanted 1 he couldent find 1 in the uk for less then 75,

yeh thats y mine ant going to be on the road mate,
most decent scrappys take them off the car, and put them "on the shelf" cos aparnty there r easy to get water in n stop workin :(

You can get a original Bosch one, new one from Awesome GTI for 100quid. ;D ;D
