1.8 8v pb engine, 2.0 gearbox.....

will a 1.8 16v kr clutch fit??

Knowing the gearbox code & what car it came from might help those with the knowledge.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

if it's a mk3 rod change box your on about, if it isn't it dosent maatter cos plenty of other stuff won't fit

right, i have a 1989 1.8 8v, pb.
mated to that i have the gearbox from an early( i forget the year) mk3 2.0 8v gti.
the clutch has now expired
i have a perfectly good clutch from a 1.8 16v kr (my old corrado's engine)
will this clutch fit my 8v?

corrado box is cabel change.

yours rod change, clutches diffrent.
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
