Im currently in a bit of a cack situation with work etc where it looks as though im goign to have to sell my .:R32  :cry:

Always been a fan of the mkii but i really havent got a clue when it comes to them but going to do some reading up but if anyone knows of any good examples that are about please pm me with details

Budget? Colour perference? 3 or 5 door? 8v or 16v? Big or small bumper?

Sad times but you'll be entering the world of the best Golf ever whichever model you buy.

Much as it pains me to say it if you want one that will hold maximum value then you need to be looking for a late Big Bumper 16v in as close to original spec as you can find. All the other models are still brilliant cars and you'll love it but be prepared to look at a lot of over priced heaps of crud.

Yeah it would be a 16v 3 door big bumper Mkii that i would like and as you say Nick prob goin to be looking at alot of sheds, but still just seeing whats out there really and depending on how quick the R goes dude

When I Was looking for a mkii, all-be-it a shed, I had quite a few forums on notify...

I eventually found my on Edition and the lad I dealt with was fantastic.

As above Pistonheads, Club GTi or Volkscars, Volkswizard (these two will ask a little bit more but have decent cars).

Hmm, I'm enjoying my mk5 so much that the mk2 will be going up for sale, once I've fixed a little list of problems ;)
