Stelvio Pass Trip!!!

Planning to take my mk2 16v to the stelvio pass, has any one taken their dub there?? any advice tips, etc..

The Passo dello Stelvio (Italian: Passo dello Stelvio; German: Stilfser Joch), located in Italy, at 2757 m (9045 feet) is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps, and the second highest in the Alps, slightly below the Col de l'Iseran (2770 m, 9088 feet). The Cîme de la Bonette (2802m, 9192 feet) is not a proper pass but merely a loop with start and end only metres apart at the Col de la Bonette (2715 m).

Make sure your breakdown cover includes Europe, other than that all you'll need is a lot of luck, a few spare parts, plenty of petrol, some earplugs and a few decent cd's.
