my mate been having problems with his n reg golf. he got all air out system put new thermostat in it and water pump all pipes warm but no heat in car

does the blower work? and was the heater turned on full when bleeding? (could be worth checking rubjonny's bleeding guide as golf's can be awkward! mk2 maintenance or garage section I think?)

Did you have this problem before you changed thermostat etc? If so may be the heater matrix that's blocked.
