Just looked at mine and it has rear armrest.

It was standard from Jan 2006 according to Parker's.  You know something, I've never actually used it!  Forgot that it was there!

Mine only has a tab to pull it down whereas the one in the picture has a whole strap thing.

Mine is an 05 plate (MY04) and has the rear armrest - I have leather don't know if that makes any difference?

Electric lumbar was standard but as pointed out the full electric control wasn't available on UK cars.

Looking at the Parker's spec of the GTI shows that electric lumbar only came with the leather seats.

Don't  07  model year Golfs have silver buttons for "all" the stereo controls? Not just the volume and tuning knobs.

Cheers for the link, I've now learnt (and found) that I've got lumbar support and headlight washers :)

They do look like 17s and 18s and the qulaity of the pictures is awful which implies he hasnt take them.

Looks VERY dodgy, Id stay clear if I was you and look elsewhere. The famous old saying, if it looks too good to be true then it probably is.

Absolutley, the drivers bolster looks a pushed down (indicating much wear) compared to mine, very doubtful for 21,000 miles

It's hard to see how they'd benefit from this scam, unless it's a front for steal to order?

Sight unseen, yes I can imagine that, when I was hunting around for mine some people had made phone deposits to secure the car.
