Yeah inside the front cover of the service book or on the sticker on the boot floor.

I thought heated seats were an optional extra regardless of whether you spec leather or not. I have seen a couple of GTI's for sale with leather and no heated seats and therefore have not looked into buying them. Personally you can't have leather seats without them being heated.

I think what's probably happened there is that people assume you'll know the seats are heated if they're leather.

Not 100% sure on imports but all UK spec GTI's with leather have heated seats.  Look for the control dials beside the climatronic displays.

Like you say, leather without heat just isn't funny.
