Can't Open bonnet! Argh!

Can somebody please help me out here? My release cable is fine, and the bonnet pops ok, but the little plastic handle isn't doing its bit

Could somebody tell me which bit i need to tweak and where? PM if you don't wanna post it public but its getting annoying now, i was trying for 20mins out in the rain earlier to no avail!

if you jack the car up and get your hand up between the fans you should be able to u pop it that's how I did mine. I'll try get a pic tomo as it's too dark ATM
