« on: 09 December 2009, 14:48 »
What should the gauge be on,say on ideal, and when being driven?just put mine in,its a revo i bought off of the stink,if you look at the gauge you got 0 in the  9 0clock postion then you have 0 to 30 goin anti clockwise and the same goin clockwise,on ideal mine is on -20,rev it and it goes to +5,i got a feeling this isnt right  any thoughts ?

idle sounds about right - 20

is your car remapped? Standard PSI should be around 8-9PSI though but thats full throttle and under heavy engine load i.e. 4th gear

dont think its been remapped,i havnt driven it since i fitted the gauge, just reved it to about 6500 and it went up to 5,fed the pipe through the bonnet release cable grommet in the end as i didnt have enough pipe to go the way you suggested Rhys

no good just revving it an idle as you're not loading up the engine fully

really?  :undecided:  its about the same distance i would have thought although I guess it depends where you tap in for your boost gauge

ran it across bulkhead near diverter and upto the FPR,think it saved about 3-4 inches and gave me just enough to do it. :smiley:will take it up the ringroad later and see what it reads then.
