Getting a cooper s works for the year mate as they hold there value well and go like stink, 60-100 its like a rocket! Funnily enough im after a 335i beemer next year (300 odd bhp) and it has the same bhp/ton as the mini 

I am very keen on a mk4 anni though, had a go in the cooper and it was nice but cheap inside (supercharger sounds cool!) need to have a go in the golf.

Should have around 9k to play with.
