Very nice. Any chance of a head-on shot? I am thinking of upgrading my lights to xenons. TIA

Very nice motor mate. Getting one just like it..... Hopefully mid January. We have by far picked the best colour in my opinion. Enjoy

I agree with Casabian but, then again, I'm biased as mine is grey too.

Washed it yesterday for the first time in weeks - it tdoes scrub up well I must say.

...for those of you that don't read the August orders thread

Picked her up yesterday afternoon, photo's aren't brilliant but gives you an idea

Just need to rack up those 1000 miles now

Hi Steven,

Have just joined the GTI forum having ordered a new GTI in carbon grey.

I saw the pictures of yours - stunning - which influenced my colour choice.

Wife has expressed a strong desire to see the colour in the metal to make sure that she was happy with it, so I was wondering if

1)  you were anywhere near me (Bucks), and
2)  if so, would there be any chance of a quick look at the car in person?

Many thanks.

Hi,

I got your E-mail asking the same, I wouldn't have minded but I'm up in Lancashire so not nearby I'm afraid.

Hi

Thanks for the compliments for my GTI, but I'm sorry...I just don't feel comfortable meeting people I don't know from an internet forum. Hope you understand.

There's plenty of official meets and gatherings arranged through the forums I believe, so you could try that..or get down to your local VW dealership

Carbon Grey is a classy colour choice though  good choice
