now i done sumthign daft tonite n i need your help

I spun the gti and hit a kurb n flew up onto the grass
at 110 on a straight road ???

n now it pulls to the left n the passenger wheel
sticks out a bit

gonna take it into work see if they can fix it
as i no my dad will go crazy

Rest of the car is fine just a daft mistake
i wont be doin again

Oh Dear Rob. I think most of us have probably dons something equally stupid when we get our first fast car. I just hope you can get it sorted and learn to take it steady next time. There could be something a little softer than a kerb to hit, if you get my drift (no pun intended)

I got plans for this car so I dont mind doin a bit of work on it
but from what the guy says it does not need much doin
apart from towbar takin off but we will see gonna get some windows stickers ordered aswell now ;D

keep the toe bar on and let winter pass if your with me ;)

i'm not with you? why keep the tow bar on?

verdict

i took it into work today
and the bottom arm is fine drivers side is fine

but the passenger side needs a wheel knuckle the guy sed
there 15quid or so from scrappy and i saw where he was comin from coz
i cud see how the wheel was bent nothin else was damaged

but... luckily a golf gti mk2 came into work today as a trader
knackered but me n another guy with a mk2 are buyin it for 50quid
i am gonna have the knuckle off it or hub dunno proper name
and the door handles and the seats as they are good condition
and whatever else i can grab

i went to the skid scene today they is a huge puddle so i aquaplained on it
it was dark i never saw it

takin it easy from now on dont wanna lose the beast

as someone said though we've all done silly things, and you learn from them.. could have been a LOT worse at those speeds. If you get clocked at speeds anywhere near that mate it'll be an instant ban and re-test at your age.. you worked bloody hard to get that car buddy.. try and keep it ?;)
