Well then yours isn't standard is it.

No mine isn't standard but was clocking almost 225 as standard. So some MkVI's stock could be as quick as ED30's.

i saw a mk6 at the weekend owned by a nice guy called chris, who has had the car about a month was an ex demo and he has no modifications at all yet and he got the same power as i did when mine was standard 224bhp. wether his will go up to 300 with a map and filter like mine is now, im not so sure. but still interesting that the fsi's may be a secret weapon

Wont be as high as 275 after a remap because it has the smaller k03 turbo.Remember the k04 Twin scroll Turbo has a much tuning potential then the smaller single scroll K03.

260's is very likely though. Agree with Nick, saw that Mk6 run on a dyno Dynamics setup and they are a prooven setup.

Yes I know RR's vary, up and down.

No-one ever knows their true figure but based on the fact that that other standard Mk6 clocked over 220 it's not inconceivable that mine did as well. His was an ex demo? So probably driven hard from new which is what I did with mine.

Anyway, whatever the numbers, the car is impressively quick for a minor modded car.
