vag com on windows 7

right i now have windows 7... but im trying get vag com working and no luck.. i cant even open it up.. i click on it and nothing .. iv run it in compatability mode for xp sp2 as stated on ross tech.. but stil nothing... i cant even open the blood thing  :angry:

anyone got it up and running on windows 7?

im not the only one then  :laugh:
just got a new laptop with window o/s to and mines exactly the same i have installed the drivers to run the virtual com port but as you nav i click on the desktop icon and nothing  :huh:

probably fed up of fault finding on your 1.8T's  :tongue:

is there any info on the Ross Tech site?

all ross tech says it is compatable, same rules and step by step as vista o/p applies.. which is bullsh!t.. becuase it does not even open when you click on it  :sad:

I got mine working on Windows 7 with no problems at all, scans all ok :afro:

i got vista m8. how did u get urs working with windows vista, my ports are ok, but its says that interface not found any idea's

i've done that now m8. to test it have i got 2 plug it into the car. because i just went into options, selected my com, and clicked on test. a little box came up saying port 'ok' interface not found.

any help is much appreciated ???????

yes you need to test it connected to the car as it wont find the interface if its not got one to connect too :rolleyes:
