I just sorted my front grill out as it was sticking out on the passenger side. 
Im a bit worried about the paint 
I have no idea whats going on with my Daytime running lights or my 1200rpm tickover

It maybe the protective coating that they have not got to when cleaning the car. I seem to recall Stuart Grimshaw from Toughseal mentioning something to this effect to me.

I have hardly driven my car and have not checked the tickover rpm, but I am sure I would have noticed if it remained at 1200 rpm.

Regarding your DTRL, I have not got a clue!

God, that bonnet is really annoying me now!

Went to check this really carefully and with a very bright torch. Mine is perfect on both sides.
Are both sides the same on yours?
Use a thin plastic implement to see if it can make a difference if it is the protective coating.

1200rpm tickover does seem a bit high, just checked mine (sitting outside the Chinese on my iPhone ;-) ) and tickover settles quickly to 800rpm

Mine is black right through as well.
Snoopy the paint below your wing mirror looks the same in the photo as the paint in the joint. Could it just be a trick of the light with that finish of paint as I'm sure in real life your paint below the wing mirror is fine.

Had my bonnet re-aligned today, very quick job and sorted. Would recommend body shop people to do it not mechanic.

Mechanics are pigs when it comes to bodywork. I know this from bitter experience.
Going to the bodyshop tomorrow morning to get this sorted!

From the 1st picture it looks like the edge of the 'A' pillar.
From the 2nd picture it looks like the edge of the wing.
