another faulty shock??

well i thought replacing the originally fitted jom shock with its replacement would cure the noise well it has........until now! and my 2nd shock is now doing the same back to creaking again i know wes has had problems and jonny also looking at his the other afternoon both his rears are noisy so mines in the hands of dpm to see what to do and just my luck the years warranty ran out in october!! but as i had a replacement iirc june time would this still be acceptable as would the year be for that one or am i just hoping  as i'm waiting for dpm to speak to jom and if its bad news looks like i'l be ripping the jom stuff off  and looking for another set up any info greatly recieved

not sure how the car industry works but normally the replacement item takes you to the end of the original warranty period so if it was replaced in June then technically you only get 4 months warranty, not 12 

Lets hope JOM replace it out of goodwill

cheers for quick reply rhys was gutted to see the warranty had expired and now the replacements done the same thing my luck that
so from what you say i'v had it on the 2nd one to  oh well looks like suitable replacement time then and expense like you say unless jom are willing to offer a goodwill gesture  hopefully as this is at least 3 people on here i know its a small amount compared to people thats actually brought/fitted their jom kit but even so for me another faulty one within 6 months

Yep both of my rears doin it. Spoke to damain and he getting in touch with jom. Will try the two new shocks see how it goes. Matt if u got new shocker 6month ago then that shock shud hav 6month left on guarantee as its a new item hth

it doesn't quite work like the Jonny but then thats why the Sales of Good Act exisits

Lol I aint on a budget just thourt the jom set up was half decent!
