Proper cup holders

Am I missing something, there is already cup holders in the front like this ?

I have never known another car to have a bottle opener. Its crazy!

Had the ones in the picure on my mk 5, not so good.

The beauty of the bottle opener/ slide drawer type is you can slide back the drawer to fit/grip any bottle or can size you want.

That's true hadn't thought about it like that. Although you are stuffed if there are 2 cups in there 

Option 2 though, slide the bottle opener down to meet the fist cup/bottle and then the side down to the next one. Problem solved 

No cup holder in the rear arm rest they in the Front arm rest at the back...

Sorry makes no sense to me 
With the bottle opener in the middle, how can it be slid both ways?

it can be slid one way... to the detriment of the other

you use the sliding cover?!

damn... just had a look at my rear armrest... not a cup holder in sight!

Look at the back of the front seats or armrest.  They're there somewhere.  You can even use them if the rear arm rest isn't folded down.

just for you madam rolfe i put on my shoes and wandered outside into the 4c night to check the back of my car... again.

the cupholders in the back of my car are between the front seats just below the vents.  some sort of clamping systems.

now.... where was my life again?!
