They look like either BBS RJ's or RZ's to me. Either way they were an official optional extra on Golf mk2's. Easiest way to check is to pull the centre cap off & if they are vw bbs they will have a part number beginning with 601, along with the vw logo. If you give me the part number I could tell you what they are if they are vw bbs, but not if they are bmw ones.

I bought my centres off ebay from Les Bray of Veedub machine. Very helpfull chap. But new ones are getting scarce.

sorry meant to say the number on the actual wheel, which you will see when you take the centre cap off.

Think mine are the same as darnpb's. When I pop the centre caps off I have the vw symbol on the wheels.

I do have a spare centre cap, but it has no badge in the middle of it. I'll see if I can dig it out. If you are missing one then this one may suffice.

These were the BBS wheels available for Golfs, taken from the official VW accessories price list dated 1st Feb 1991:

BBS RA 14" = 111 999 562 BBS PRICE IN FEB 1991 £135.99
BBS RA 15" = 111 999 732 AS BBS £162.99
BBS RJ 14" = 601 BBS 046 £135.99
BBS RJ 15" = 601 BBS 052 £157.99
BBS RZ 14" = 601 BBS 039 £146.10
BBS RZ 14" POLISHED = 601 BBS 042 £167.90
BBS RM 15" = 601 BBS 050 £269.99
BBS RD 14" = 601 BBS 058 £174

Hopefully you can identify your wheels now from these part numbers. :smiley:
