ACC: Best Option bar none and mainly due to the ride in 'comfort' mode.

Comfort: Limo ride on our horrible roads especially on motorways. And the handling is fine. The steering and throttle response are a bit slow but one gets used to this. One drives the car more sedately.

Sport: On a smooth surface has sharper steering and throttle response, a harder ride and a bit more fun. Used it twice and only for short periods.

Normal: Best of both worlds. Alternate this with 'comfort' but I am more biased towards 'comfort'.

PS: What I would be totally happy with for everyday driving would be: the ride in 'comfort' (most important), steering weight in 'normal', steering response in 'sport' and throttle response in 'sport'.

Snoops: I think you will be really happy if you can retro-fit ACC. Your hardish ride will be very much smoother especially on your 17" rims.

I know i said in my earlier post on this thread what i said but around that time i found out my car was going to be delayed and not built till the new year so i decided to add some options and after a few further test drives i decided what the hell ACC would be one of the options i would ask to be added. VWcs said no problem as build week not locked. Dealer said i could as VWcs said i could. Then the saga with the dealer started again (won't bore you with details).....................
Basically If i had, had a dealer who knew his ass from his elbow, did what he said, and could add up, i would have ACC on the car (and 4 other extras infact), it took me 2 months to get him to add one other option  . Wayside Group , leave customer service by the wayside .....

I know how annoyed you are at not having got your car fully specced to your liking. This was just a bit of naughtiness on my part. No hurt meant.
You know what you have to do .... Look what happened to Erik when his dealer did not spec his car properly. He got an ABT re-map FOC.
You should pursue Wayside vigorously and get some form of compensation.
I know how much time, effort and heartache this car has caused you and fully understand that you want to put the nightmare behind you.
There is no doubt, from what has transpired, your treatment by Wayside has been totally unacceptable.

I was just venting was not at you mate
I still have a case with VWcs, I sent them a letter a few weeks ago and said basically what i said above and i was not happy. VWcs were on the phone to me on Thursday about my paint. I now have to get time off work to go see a dealer about the paint for there view.... Thats going to be fun as for once were working 6days a week from this coming week and have more work than we can handle and i got a nasty look when i asked for time off for the dentist last week! so i don't think i can get time off for paint
If im truthful im sick of it now. 7 months of this from VW and getting nowere.
He got his compo from the dealer, as most who got or get compo have or have done.
My supply dealer does not give a rats ass.

Snoops: Can we not somehow blackmark Wayside? There must be ways to do this without legal implications.
