well, just been to the dealership. Took the technician out and very frustratngly the rattles didn't crop up. Left it with them for a few days so they can test on a cold morning. so we'll see.
on the leak front - I was asked whether the windows were up
And then, that i'd obviously opened the door to get in, at which point rain will hav ran on the inside of teh seal then to come through... so how come that's never happenned on any other car (inc. golfs) i've had... I wasn't convinced plus it come through slightly on the passenger door that hadn't been opened...
..so they going to water test it..?! whether that means throwing a bucket of water over it i don't know.
i'm now thinking i should have gone for a 1yr old boxster, accept the running costs and accept that it won't be brand new therefore not get annoyed with it!
