Build weeks move all over so yes it may mov forward.
Also i bet alot of others who are getting theres quickly have actually got build slots from previous cars that were cancelled orders or cars pre-ordered by the dealer :wink: The dealer simply changed the spec to suit and never told them :evil:

You are right.
My car was pre-ordered by the dealer in June 2009, so I am told.
My order went through on 16th December.
Car was originally BW2 but then was moved to BW9.

Hi everyone,
           I ordered my 5 door GTI on the 12th Sept. and have just had build week 11 confirmed, thank goodness the end is in sight at last. My current GTI almost needs 2 new tyres and a service but naturally I'm hoping to trade in without doing either. Trade in price guarenteed from Sept. so no point.

Build week 9 is this week so going by what has been said previously( 2-3 weeks after build week) it should be the end of March or early April.

Update for you, being shipped this weekend for possible delivery next week.  Snag is I fly to Reykjavik on the 13th for a few days until the 17th so would prefer to pick up then, so I can stare at it for maybe a few hours by myself lol
