orderd golf r on november 30th hope ive got one no confomation yet tho
spec 3dr, manual, Rising blue, 19", RCD510 dynaudio, leather seats, winter pack
delevery date could take up to a year my dealer said  :huh:

You must've missed his allocation then. 
My dealer told me yesterday that hes placed orders for 7 Golf R's and about 5 Scirocco R's - but he's only got comission numbers on 2 x Golf's and 1 x Scirocco.  Thankfully my Golf is the 1st one!
He said that the other 5 Golfs will gradually get comissioned throughout next year - so some of them might be waiting 6 months to a year.

Everyone laughed at me putting down a £500 deposit so early - but it looks like it might have paid off!!

24th      pipehose -GTI DSG RED WEEK BUILD NOW 2 moved to week 6 ive cancalled and bought a merc

October     

21st      damianmkv - GT 160 man 5dr

I'd phone round other dealers. I wouldn't have thought every dealer has sold out their 2010 allocation of Rs already.

Mine has 2!  He did say he always had a very high GTI allocation becuase they sell so many of them.
Still worth calling some other dealers to make sure there's not a space somewhere.

Ordered 28/10/2009. BW07 confirmed. production complete 10/02/2010. Arrived at dealers 17/02/2010. Driving on a 10 plate 01/03/2010.

The reason you have probably got yours early will be all these cancelled orders about. We are getting sick of been messed about by VW and there unhelpfull useless dealers so alot have cancelled and i don't blaim them :angry:
