Thought 323mm was the next step?

Patch - have you seen Tabs thread where he has fitted 996 rear brakes to his Bora thus retaining the 312mm disc?

I'd be tempted but running Anni wheels means I'd need 15mm spacers for the fronts!

That'd be fine with the anni wheels,they are only 7.5J iirc.Would sit flush with the arch

i'm not a fan of spacers so hence why i've never pursued the idea

i havent personaly used hi spec, but know people who have them and they very impressed, i think they are up there with the likes of wilwood

Speak to Daveb about a Porsche setup can run 312mm, 325mm or 330mm discs
the 330mm uses alfa brera discs and cost about £130 unlike the ECS R32 discs Bav is using which cost £500 + vat + shipping

Need 10mm spacers with anni wheels and 20mm with LCR calipers

I run Tarox 6pots up front with tarox grooved versions of standard GTI discs at the rear.
Patch I have Ianb s old car - you already know what its like I beleive.
Pretty effective but not cheap come replacement time

Patch, f**k the bigger brakes!  Extra unsprung weight = great inertia = less acceleration.  Those DS2500's are all you need, my friend!
