But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Dont bother with the oil coolers from euro parts, mk2 gti
1st of all the rubber seal split after about 6 months, So got a new seal from vw dealer cause        euro parts didnt stock them,  And then after i fitted new seal my expansion tank started 2 fill with creamy water and was runnin all through my pipes, what a mess that was,
So i thought my head gasket had gone, But a local mechanic said it could be my oil cooler, So i robbed a genuine oil cooler of a mk3 gti in scrappy, And it has been fine, that was 2 years ago,,
No guts No glory,

Parts you should buy from the dealership:
Number plates - £3 each!

My invoice from last week says different, as do the 4 dealers that i asked for prices...

Just checked invoice. £6 not £3  :lipsrsealed: oops
£3 for the acrylic and £3 for the reflective backing. Still much cheaper than most!

Yer most are quite bad... halfords as per f**king usual is 'starting from'. God knows how they start from that price? surely there all the same...

p.s i was looking for heat shielding in halfords as a last ditch effort not actually buying sh!t from there
