Well you are missing at least 8 valves and have 2 doors too many - but other than that

I'd go down the route of slamming it as a number one priority - it will stop it handling like a boat! Don't go too low would be my advice! I've gone low, and having covered 250 miles since the coilovers have "settled" and now I'm even lower - and as a result I ended up with 2 incidents today - incident 1 - speed bumps one Golf nil and new spliter now required - bugger as its a failry new VR6 one I put on the car about 3 months ago. Incident 2 - MOTSTOP couldn't get it on the ramps at the test centre for the MOT test :embarassed:
Don't bother with the trubo would be my advice. If your going to spend all that money sorting out compression, rod ends, turbo's etc etc I would just drop in a 20v turbo and box from a mk4 gti. You'll have to fiddle around with some bits, but it would probably cost alot less and give much more power with better power curves.
16's are plenty. 17's on low profile tyres and coilovers WILL ruin your spine! If you've got cash to burn splash on some BBS split rims

I'd look at tarting up the body and a S/S exhaust system - but nothing too boomy.
