it idles funny at times and never ticks over when cold. you have to apply a bit of throttle for about 2 or 3 minutes and then its fine. i've checked just about everything else and cleaned out all relevant pipes but running out of ideas now so been told this valve maybe playing up even though its been cleaned as well.

part number is different but it should physically fit. no idea if it'll work right tho

I doubt it will work. I tried this once on an audi, physically the valves can be made to fit, but won't work properly.

mk2 16v part should work, part supercession from the kr part eventually leads to the ABF part
