every 60k, make sure you get a water pump fitted as well  :lipsrsealed:
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Yes, because they go on forever.

I know mines a petrol, but it's done about 210K and the dervs are much better. They go on and on. Worth the cash.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

excuse me for nicking this post but how can one know how to identify a cambelt that needs changing by looking at it??
I only ask this as I brought my car not too long ago but the service history was not complete and the previous owner has no idea either when I asked him.

Best to get it done 'again' just to be safe, i'm in the same boat, and i'm gonna get it done asap! Better spending a few hundred than having a fooked engine

every car ive bought ive fitted a new belts and rollers rite away, not worth the risk, my current car only had its belts done two years ago but i like to be safe and fit new frsh belts for piece of mind. Always always replace the pump to.
