How many GTI owners are there?

Got mine two weeks ago. Ordered end of June.

Fantastic car, love it to bits.

Improvement in most respects to the mk5. Can't fault it really.

It doesn't always look so blue - depends on the sunlight.  If the sky's grey, it's very similar to Carbon Grey.

It also looks better when clean, as it was in the photo....   :embarassed:

im a new owner, got it 3 weeks ago.  this is my 5th golf, wasn't going out to get one when i valued my mark 5 tdi but sold on it at the showroom, arrived under 2 wks.  only extra is metallic paint and the must have 18 inch "monza shadows".  oh i just curbed an alloy- very angrY!!!

  btw the 17 inchs dont look a patch on these shadows.

So they say. But the 17" are much cheaper, cheaper tyres, more comfortable, less easy to kerb, no white worm, faster and not BLING....

Previous poll voted 20 to 4 in favour of Monza shadows so they are more popular. (or is it common )

More comfy ? maybe, but I bet you'd be hard pushed to tell the diff in a blind fold test (of course not when your driving, when your the passenger  ), faster ? probably get to top speed with the length of my knob as the distance between the car behind on 18's. Cheaper and cheaper tyres is a given. Bling ? Don't really get that. 18's are classy.

Best advert ever for me is the mk5 again, with the singing in the rain advert. Thats totally wicked.

is that a good idea sleeping with your keys.  what happens if you opened the car by accident- assuming its parked in your house if it was.
