Weird ad but I'm liking the Golf R, the Scirocco doesn't grow on me imho it just get uglier the more I see it. :wink:

I certainly couldn't. You're well into far more prestigious marques territory at that point.

Silly money and I think they (VW) are taking the p*ss to be honest.

Maybe. But it'll get to the point where they suddenly find people will stop buying the cars. That "prestige" saloon they made springs to mind - the Phaeton. Yes, good car but are you seriously going to buy that over a Jag, Beemer, Merc etc. etc. etc?
