I agree, but the previous owner didnt! The stuff was caked, and been through wet and dry and wire wool and chrome polish, and they are still nowhere near what I would like

You are very much welcome to come round and have a go on my tips (ooh err ), but I've been there and done that many times... although 10000% better, they are still not to my standards!

I have a dust cloth/rag in the boot, and wipe my tips after every drive...............lol.
Seriously, I do!

Anyways, gave my car a wash yesterday (same car/colour as you Pitch, but mine's 5 door), and what happens??
It bloody starts raining on the way to work this morning.
