Anyone got anymore info on the towbar for the mk6 GTI?

Anyone know if its like the mk5 were you can buy the lower part of the back bumper from the dealer with the removable cover for the towbar?

I asked VW up in Perth about towbars they told me there was a plastic trim that had the cut out for the towbar in it. That part was around £35 and is black anyway, however, the total cost of fitting to their demonstrator was £800!! Am sure it can been for a lot less but our warranty might be an issue? I am thinking about putting the £800 towards an old toyota jeep instead.

Thanks, so we can atleast get the replacment back panel.  I wonder which of the two companies that usually supply VW they use for the mk6 GTI towbar as it will be much cheaper to buy direct than through VW
