If you don't declare your mods and have an accident or a claim, you will first of all be asked for a letter of non-disclosure, in which you need to explain to the insurance company why you did not consider it necessary to inform them of any changes made. 99% of these end up with you having breached the terms of your insurance. You will therefore be uninsured. The likely outcome is this:
1) 6 points and £200 fine from the court
2) Any damages payable (if applicable) to the 3rd party or parties depending on how many vehicles you hit and
ALL COURT COSTS as you will have no legal cover because you have no legal policy.
3) The likelihood of most insurance companies no quoting you in future because another company cancelled your policy due to non-disclosure.
