Running problems on my ABF...........
«

Can anyone help, my car is running like a pile of the finest at the moment. I've started at the cheap end of diagnosing things:
Clean TB
Changed Relay 30 and 167
Reset the ECU
It hessitates even when cold.
Can you help with the photos below? The pipe in my fingers doesn't go anywhere, any ideas?

in the above photo is the MAF one of the items near the air box?
Cheers in advance

On mels polo there is one of those pipes that goes from the air box, but i cant remember where it went, i just put it back on the air box when refiting.
And the maf is what the plug is plugging into on the pipe after the airbox.

Cheers, you just put it back on the air box? So it just goes no where?
I'm trying to eliminate all possible causes.

No. I meant that i know it comes from the air box, but im not sure where the other end should be. But doubt its anything to do with your running problems if honest.

Ok thanks
Is it just a rough idle? Or does it not pull that well? Do the revs drop bellow idle level when you slow down or dip the clutch? Is it ok when warm/cold.
Is it all the time, or some of the time?
