Hey GavG60 ;D, next time your at the 1/4 mile take a look to your left...... you may find old smokey (minus 1/2 engine in boot+ice etc) ripping it up again, looking for early 15's this year.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hmm don't know ahts happening with my replys but what I said was

In the mk1 it is a seat cupra engine like you but I also use the seat 6 speed box, wiring ecu etc..... It all came together, some nice person crashed there car for us to use   Even the head lights run off the seat wiring and what a difference they are lovely and bright!

Saw rich gits car in the flesh today....Well as much in the flesh as a car can be. Its very nice, The motors impressive as well. I went there to drop off some parts for him to work on, And ended up getting sold a Twin webber carb too ?;D

I thought you said it was doing 300 miles on ?30 a while ago? or was that in a previous stage of mapping?

I've got the mk3 16v 'box on my 20vT aswell. Are you getting 1000rpm for every 20mph in 5th like me Richgit?

What diff u running? My standard Mk3 16v does 90mph at 4000rpm.

no idea dizzie, at 145mph im sure its around 6500rpm...

and g6dub - so how did you manage to fit the seat box? matt said soemthing about the driveshafts, did you have to get yours modified?

yes they are custom made drive shafts.
Still having probelms with the seat steering colum, it still is a bit long, don't have a good turning circle and it is not perfectly smooth on retuning, so that needs to be sorted.

I want to get a LSD (limited slip diff) to help with the spinning problems, also the car will have a new look for next year! as air is going so it needs somthing a little different

mine's at 7000rpm at 140mph. it's a bit scary when it goes off both clocks ;D

don't do that too often though  ;) ;)
