haha Hutch, that track on your 510 sounds bloody awesome doesn't it? Even without Dynaudio it's a great sounding system with the right tunes.....

Seems 5 drs and 18's is the way to go?!

the sound system is immense, would not mind hearing the difference of the dynaudio

my brother (works for VW) advised me that 5 door will have better resale as the 3 door will compete with the scirrocco on resale market
Sad that i have not got my Astra VXR Nurburgring anymore but well happy with my Mk6 GTi, much better car

your brother's thought does make some sense!

that's what happens here in Hong Kong, the dealer simply doesn't import 3-door GTI (only GTI) and the 3-door market will be taken care of by Scirocco.

i have not got ACC  but the handling is immense as it is mate, i have had it on some twisty roads and it's road holding is brilliant and lets you get the power down at all times
So your VW brother didn't pick the ACC option for you?  Did you ask him why?  I would be curious to know his thought behind.

apparently they are pushing the 5dr over the 3dr because they want people that were going to get the 3 dr to go for the scirroco instead

apparently it's only worth the money if you are planning to do loads of track days as the handling is immense without it anyway, and i can vouch for that, the handling is brilliant

Thanks a lot!  I am still struggling if I should go for ACC (but with a long wait time) or stick with the conventional suspension setup.

mate, I had a Scirocco with ACC and now have my GTI without it and do not miss it one bit.  If you are pootling around with an elderly mother in tow (such as another forum member) then go for it but otherwise I think it's not a necessity but a luxury.  If money is no object go for it as the comfort setting makes motorways slightly nicer but not enough to justify the cost.
