i baught my golf thinking it was standard.. but then realised it had blisten shocks.. the code on them is VNE-4114

just wandering if anyone knows anything about them.. or how low they will have dropped my car??

according to google that part number shows as shocks for a mk2 golf

does it!? i searched google.. and the blisten site and they are the right ones for this car.. but dosent give any info about them..

Thats just a standard blisten shocks, they wont lower your car anything. Take a picture of the cars hight atm and we will be able to tell from that.

it lists it as both mk2 and mk3 on that website?

not a clue about the springs.. the paint that is flaking off is orange/red??

I thought that they came like that standard? i changed my suspension and took off the standard ones and they were Bilstien shocks.

Your springs might be diff maybe lowering springs on standard shocks?
