Makes me laugh when I see topics like this where thick as sh!t people are giving out false information. Do your research before posting you flipping idiots. You're just adding to the confusion which isn't helpful at all.

However, Adam knows his stuff, so his information can be trusted.

I ran with H1 8000k HID's as my dipped beam (Outer lamp/Projector) in my Hella quads. I upgraded my sidelight bulbs (Inner lamp) with Phillips bluevision '233' bulbs. The high beam (Inner lamp) bulbs were ignored because I simply never used them after fitting the HID's. There's really no need to.

I wanted to put 6000k HID's in my fogs but then you can't put the casing on the back :(
Gone but not forgotten;
1983 Mk1 Golf GX - 1991 Mk2 Golf GTI - 1988 Scirocco Scala - 1989 Mk2 Golf CL - 1993 Mk3 Golf Ryder - 1996 Mk3 Golf SE - 1996 Mk3 Golf CL - 1995 Mk3 Golf GTI 16v - 1996 Mk3 Golf VR6 Highline - 2003 Saxo VTR - 1996 Mk3 Golf VR6

Okay then smartarse, tell me that all four lamps are EXACTLY the same...

The two outer lamps are the same (twin), the two inner lamps are the same (twin).

I have always known them as Hella twins but quads would also be right.
