Fine car sir.....& many thanks for the help in deciding what colour to go for myself :smiley: And unlike most it seems, I'm also no great fan of the standard wheels, hence my car will arrive with 17's & take an early trip to a bbs shop :cool: Any chance of your photo shopping friend coming up with a set of bbs ch's for us.....

Hehe, glad to be of help, Matt. I totally agree with you on the standard wheels and I did the same as you: ordered the 17s, sold them in advance on eBay, bought the Interlagos off German eBay and then asked my dealer to do the swap when the car arrived :)

I've ordered from an online broker, not a massive reduction in price, but a whole heffalump less annoying than salesmen :wink: But having promised the other half there "won't be any mods this time" its worrying how much time I've already spent looking at alternative alloys lol. The satin black bbs ch's look like they might fit nicely.......

leave them forum now if you want to keep your money in your wallet

if its one thing we're good at, its emptying your wallet with those must have essential mods  :tongue: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Hehe, don't worry, I know the routine, and I can assure you my car will never go anywhere near Awesome GTI ........for about a month :smiley: My current car is an audi a4 avant, and is ermm not quite how audi sent it out the door (coilovers, chipped & milltek'd & 19" BBS).

And thats before we even start on the hi-fi obsession  :wink:
