oil light flashing on my vr6

what could this possibly be, my oil is fine???
the car has no powewr left and has the judders??
help pleaseeee

have a look at the oil pressure switch. there should 3 on top of the oil filter, one of them is the oil pressure switch, the other two i think are temperature switches.

the judders, have u checked the basics, MAF, leads, coilpack???

well my leads are fine, coil pack is fine, now maf i dont know.
also i did take off the mani and the throttle could this be why??
i am also not getting any power it makes all the right noises but aint going nowere though.
you rekon my throttle would need re-calibrating??
and also could that oil light flashing be causing the loss of power as in putting the car into limp mode or something.
the oil light only flashs before i start the car once the car is started it doesnt flas at all.

please help!!!!!!!! im banging my head on a brick wall here guys  :embarassed:

This could have been a possible issue when you took the manifold off and the throttle maybe...worth checking anyways as the symptoms are the same.

Sounds like your having lots of problems with your VR!!

Probably would want to advise not driving it too much until the light is fixed. It could mean oil temp possibly?

Does the light flash when u start it? Or only when its warm? Have a look at the oil temp on the display when warm.

i am having a lot of probs with it.
my oil light only flashes when i turn on the ingnition. im going to check that link out.
