Might as well jump on the bandwagon and post mine. Red looks better in my opinion, but each to their own

Edit: forgot to say held down with doublesided tape

That looks good because you've got the all-black leather. The red stitching and stripes in the tartan cloth are not very 'bright' and the two different hues would clash, IMHO. Anyway, if I change my mind, I somehow don't think it's going to take too long to modify ;)

Im not sure what the layout is on the MK6 but I've just got in from adding my metal footrest to the MK5. If you like the seat inserts then you might like this as well. Sold by the same seller. The red tape makes an appearance again :D

Not bad. Would look good on LHD models, which have a more 'natural' footrest over the wheelarch.

Did you try them without the red tape first? What did they look like?

Well, here I am answering my own post from a few days ago. I fitted mine without the red tape, basically because I didn't have any, but also because I wanted to keep things discreet. Here's a pic for those interested:

MMM, that font looks very different to mine, I think they are from a different source.

I've done mine with the red tape and imo they look better.  Where did you order yours from? the font of mine is different, got mine from rich351golf on ebaythe item number is 290316669984.

yeah the fatter font looks closer to the actual Golf GTI font.

seems to be slightly smoother as well, cleaner cut and fits a tiny bit better.

Looks good. I'm tempted by the plain one though! If it fits that is

They are all plain, I just used red tape on mine.
