Also 205/50/17 are too big 205/40/17 is the correct size.

its a waist of money just buy a gti 16v or vr6 it will save you a load of time and money

Unless your  running funny offset on the wheels, dont your fronts catch the strut on 50 profiles. got a 1.4 sitting on 50 rear 40 front. back wheels dont go round mind, pain in arse to move, damn 60mm drop far too low!
