18"s are way too big for a mk3, will kill the ride and handling.

I have it lowered 25mm all round on bilstein coilovers with front upper and lower strut brace and it handles a dream! The ride is a little hard but nothing I can't live with! Plus it looks good!

haha, one day you will realise 18's on a mk3 are truely ridiculous unless they're bentley rims or somin. also why would you buy coilies only to lower it 25mm!

Alloys are something aftermarket with a VW badge stuck on, certainly not fitment on any factory car.

Weirdly though I think theose 18'ss really suit the car and it looks pretty good.

cheers! The alloys do have a vw and a made in Germany stamp made into the wheel. That's what made me think they are factory.

Really? Odd. I'm 99.9% sure they're not a gen VW rim.

Looks a nice car, I think if you do some checking I am sure those wheels were an factory option on mk4's

I still think 18"s are too big but they do seem to suit it.
