vr6... then you have the turbo option later down the line. Plenty of kits around, unlike for the abf.

you can get 400bhp from a vr6 turbo for half the money it would take to get from a 1.8T

I think you will be able to pick up a vr6 lump cheaper.

They have come down in price then, I thought the VR conversion was something like £6k! I am also on the understanding that the VR's are stronger with the bigger powergains too and less likely to go pop. Anyone remember that RichGits 20v? He was running seriously high BHP and had all sorts of issues. Again it all goes down to what do you want from your car? All that power is wasted on the streets..................................................

anyway, the turbo suggestion was a 'much much later on' thing.. i don't want to be on the same roads as mikey in a 400bhp VR :grin:
